The People’s Pantry is an emergency food source for our neighbors in the surrounding area. Donations of canned food and dry good items are appreciated and can be placed directly in the pantry on Greenwood Street.
More substantial food needs can be accommodated by contacting the Friends in Need Pantry at Trinity UCC by calling 570-391-6719 for an appointment. American Primitive Methodist distributes food items the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on the 3rdWednesday from 10 a.m. to Noon and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Food is also distributed the first Tuesday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tamaqua Middle School parking lot.
